About EMRS – Eklavya Model Residential Schools
EMRSs are fully residential schools established by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, with the goal of providing quality education to ST students from Class VI to XII.
Each school provides free accommodation, mess, sports facilities, and co-curricular opportunities for holistic development. Teachers and staff are required to reside on campus and are entitled to 10% special pay in addition to regular salary.
Eligibility Criteria for EMRS ESSE 2025
Eligibility varies for each post. However, here’s a general overview:
- Principal – Master’s Degree with B.Ed. and relevant experience.
- PGT – Post Graduation in relevant subject with B.Ed.
- TGT – Graduation in relevant subject with B.Ed.
